Cindy Sheehan, America's Peace Mom, is running for Congress in California against Nancy Pelosi, current Speaker of the House.

We are forming a national coalition of peace candidates for U.S. House of Representatives, committed to endorsing Cindy for Speaker of the House, as a symbol of a new mandate for peace.

Whoever the next President is, "We the People" will need a strong Congress to hold executive power in check and work for peace.

This is not a new political party. It is a citizen's campaign to offer the vision of a Congress that can restore the people’s branch, rein in presidential abuse, and legislate an agenda for peace.

We will lift the campaigns of hundreds of Congressional peace candidates around the country into a unified voice for change.
